Interview With Author Mar .A
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have only written one book but I am already working on the second one. I love telling stories through poems.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My Mind Vs Me. As a lot of people I also have voices in my mind that are a little too loud and there is always a war going on so I decided to finally face it and help myself and other people feel safe again
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I don’t know if it’s unusual, but I love listening to music while I am writing. I find it so inspiring and motivating.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I think my writing is totally influenced by my own thoughts as I don’t read that much poetry tbh. I am more of a fantasy and romance type of girl, but I love Colleen Hoover and Sarah J.mas
What are you working on now?
A new book. It has a different Idea that I believe is very beautiful and special.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Instagram is where I usually promote my books. It’s where I reach the highest number of people.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
I am still learning as I go but just do your best. 🙂
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
To not wait for motivation to strike in in order to do something you have to rely on discipline.
What are you reading now?
Currently, I am reading a book called Glow which is the last book in the plated prisoner series
What’s next for you as a writer?
I’ll just never stop writing and I’ll keep publishing as many books as possible.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The midnight library, I fell in love with hope, Divergent, and any book from the harry potter series.
