Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’ve written countless user manuals, knowledge bases, and many, many other technical documents. I have, however, only written one book so far.
My intention is to follow up with more novellas, since I love the style and it allows you to bring new content to your readers quickly.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The First Day. It’s because the main character is introduced and it’s a brand new day… at least, to him.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
None that I’m aware of! I do prefer writing in the morning, I make it a goal to write at least several pages each morning while I’m still inspired and excited… you know, before we have to go to work.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
While maybe a bit of a cliche, Tolkien. The Lord Of The Rings wasn’t just a series of books, it was a universe with a million things to explore. I aim to do the same.
What are you working on now?
The second book in my series, we’ll start where we left off, but this adventure is going to take us much, much further this time.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
My book is available on Amazon ( https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CQHBH2P ), and I use their promotion tools to start. Being new to it, it helps that their system is set up to guide new writers through the process.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t be scared of whether people love it or hate it, be proud that you created something. That’s more than most people do in a lifetime.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Don’t eat the yellow snow.
What are you reading now?
I’m currently working my way through the Assassin’s Creed books that are available on Amazon. It’s one of my favorite game series, and the books so far are a great companion to the games.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I will continue to work on the following chapters of my series. I really want to expand on the universe and have at least four more chapters completed in 2018. At least!
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
I would bring the Lord Of The Rings books. If I can take the copy that has the 3 books combined as one, then I can also take The Hobbit, The Silmarillion and The Return Of The Shadow.
