Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am currently working on my first novel length work, The Dawn of Limcat, which is a grimdark sword and sorcery tale. My previous stuff has all been short fiction.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Dawn of Limcat is my work in progress. It has been inspired by other grimdark fantasy series such as A Song of Ice and Fire, The Prince of Nothing trilogy, The Malazan Book of The Fallen, but it is not epic fantasy like some of those – more sword and sorcey i.e. faster pace, shorter in length, and a smaller cast of characters.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not really. I feel a little boring. Perhaps I should establish some.

What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
BookBub and Amazon Advertising appear to be the best. Some have had success with facebook advertising while others claim it is a money pit.

Just keep writing – develop your craft.

I am reading The Blood of Elves, which is the first novel in The Witcher series and I am listening to The Emperor’s Blades on audiobook, also the first novel in a series.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Once the Dawn of Limcat is done, I will write a novella set in the same universe about a crew of damned pirates. then on to the segual to The dawn of Limcat, A time of Wrath and Blood.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Tough one. Mmmm do I bring an entire trilogy or the best books from aseveral series? Perhaps
Dune, The Vampire Lestat, A Clash of Kings, & The Waarior Prophet.
