Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Sometimes I lose count! To date I’ve written sixteen books.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Pure Sensation is the final book in my Fantasy’s Bar & Grill series. The inspiration actually came from one of my favorite shows as a kid called Fantasy Island. While my book has nothing to do with that show, it does involve adults having their fantasies met.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I’m a little odd when it comes to writing. I never do outlines. I just sit in front of the computer and let the words flow at will. So far this has worked for me.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Oddly enough I fell in love with romance by reading my granny’s old harlequin romance novels. They used to come in a four book set every month. I was eight or so, and wasn’t supposed to be reading them but they gave me great plots to play out with my dolls.
What are you working on now?
After a year hiatus I’m playing catchup on three series I began and then had to put aside due to illness. Thankfully I can concentrate again.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have a newsletter, facebook page, twitter, and a blog. I use those to promote normally.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write as many books as you can and get them out there. Don’t get discouraged if you don’t sell at first. It took me three years before I started selling books.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Write what you know and don’t give up!
What are you reading now?
These days I tend to read more biographies than romance. I wanted to make sure my work wasn’t filtered by what I was reading.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Honestly? I can’t say. I write what I feel. If it ever begins to feel like work I’ll probably find a day job.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Simple. All the Twilight books and Sookie Stackhouse series. I’ve read them hundreds of times.
