Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I´m a Spanish freelance journalist and reporter.
After working a few years in TV, I was burned out. I moved to India, where I began working as a volunteer in the Nehru University library and then I tried my hand with journalism, forst in a News Agency and then as a freelancer.
From those 6+ years I came with a lot of stories and two children. In my book “Chronicles of India” I collect some of my articles and a bunch of personal memories, with a sense of humour, a lot of criticism and a kind heart for some of the people I met there.
Is my forst book, and it was published in Spanish one year ago. It was on Amazon Kindle Top Ten -Travel section- for more than three months!
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
“Chronicles of India”. It summarizes the content pretty much. It was inspired by my own perception of life in India. Not from a tourist´or a traveller´s point of view, but a foreigner living there.
And the story behind the stories I wrote for newspapers and magazines.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I like to write in the night, listening to soft music.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
“Maximum City”, by Suketu Mehta is the book I wish I wrote.
Kapuscinsky, the master storyteller.
And all the fantastic articles I read and keep reading in magazines, websites and newspapers, proving that real stories are more awesome than many novels.
What are you working on now?
I can see “Chronicles of Poland” coming shortly. I am living in Kraków, a beautiful Polsih city, for the last 6 years now.
Besides, I contribute to some newspapers.

I post in forums and use Twitter a lot

Keep writing and working as if you were a pro. Respect yourself.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Write every day. Read every day.
What are you reading now?
I´m re-reading “MAximum City”, by Suketu Mehta
What’s next for you as a writer?
Start working for English-speaking media and promote “Chronicles of India”
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
