Interview With Author Miloš Nikolić
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Miloš Nikolić, a young man and author of the work Javier and I, was born on July 11, 2002. Since birth, he has lived in the village of Stubline, near the town of Obrenovac. His interest in writing and literary interpretation is a legacy from his mother, Branka, who, throughout most of his elementary education, wrote his essays and homework assignments in Serbian language and literature.
Alongside her, credit is also due to his sister Milica, a passionate reader who shares her love of books with her brother, inspiring him to read a great number of books each year. His writing style has been shaped primarily by short novels that leave an indelible mark on the minds of young people. His literary role models include Ernest Hemingway and Dragoslav Mihailović, whose works he first encountered during high school.
It was during that same period—his high school years—that he set out on his literary journey, beginning with the writing of poetry.
