About Molly Goes for a Walk: Based on a true ‘tail’ by Claire Mahoney
The delightfully crafted picture book ‘Molly Goes for a Walk’ is sure to warm the hearts of young and older. Journey along with brave little Molly, a Labrador puppy who survives a car accident and does it with HOPE! Based on a true story, this endearingly illustrated story invites you to empathise with Molly as she undergoes surgery and healing from a broken pelvis. Molly’s mum and dad take her for walks everyday in her pink pram, with her brother’s, Albie and Cooper, running ahead.
This is an inspiring and fun ‘tail’ about how to forgive and positively face life’s challenges. Surrounded by her family and farm yard friends, Molly is encouraged to enjoy her walks in her pram and soak up all the wonderful smells of country life. Meet the beautiful ‘butterfly of hope’ who assures Molly that she will be OK, she will get better and one day will run with her brothers again!
