Author Bio:
Tammy Cobbs is, first and foremost, a mother… But she’s also the inspirational author of “Mom’s Guide” Parenting Your Teenage Daughter.
Mom to two sets of twins, Tammy is driven by curiosity and her need to understand and educate. She channels this energy into her work, which explores the delicate art of parenting teenage girls.
Although she comes from a background in business administration, Tammy is of the firm belief that she’s learned more from parenting and her voluntary work than she has from any professional position she’s held or academic training she’s had. Her curious and contemplative nature has led her to take what she’s learned from her own experience and extrapolate the larger lessons that can be learned about parenting.
Tammy found that raising her twin daughters was wildly different from what she experienced with her sons, and she has explored this difference in depth to enhance her own parenting journey and help other parents navigate the complex world of adolescent girls.
Born in London, Tammy moved to Toronto when she was 10 years old, where she now lives with her family. She loves reading, walking in the countryside, and any opportunity she gets to spend time with her four children, of whom she’s immensely proud.
