About My Every Day Valentine
This is another heartwarming story, from the Lee Series, depicting the very special love and connection between parent and child.
My Every Day Valentine is easily relatable for children with a theme that sends a very reassuring message to them that they will always be loved no matter what. The book tells a fun to read tale about a child asking their mother, a single parent, how she feels not to have a sweetheart in her life. Lee learns what the true meaning of love is and once again how very much a child is loved by their parent. .
You can spend many hours of special time reading this book to your 0-4-year-old or watching your 4-6-year-old enjoy reading it repeatedly. Both the hearing and reading of this story help develop a child’s sense of confidence, permanence, and security.
As is particular to this author this is a high-quality book with exceptionally colorful and beautiful illustrations. This 32-page book will become a family favorite to read over and over and would even be a great addition to your permanent home library.
Working with this type of artistic book is especially good at developing concentration, imagination, and creativity. This is especially important if you have an easily distracted child, are working on attention span, or have a child diagnosed with attention deficit disorder (ADD / ADHD).
The lessons in the book are uniquely helpful for children of single mothers, divorce, separation, military families, or those who have a history of abuse or trauma. The book repeatedly reinforces the message that their parent/guardian has a very special and intense love for them. They can learn self-acceptance and release guilt or blame by hearing the message that they are loved and lovable regardless of anything else.
