A true story told to no one, but only in my memoir…This candid memoir is a raw and unfiltered reflection of the life of a 4th generation Hungarian descendant from a child’s perspective to an adult’s perspective as a street kid from the most violent city in the United States in Gary, Indiana to being accepted into one of the world’s finest universities in Oxford, England with $500 in her pocket… It’s an encompassment of a woman finding life’s greatest treasures, being thankful for all the bad things that happened in life, and mostly being thankful for those who have wronged her. A reminiscence of a life filled with adventure, learning, heartache, joy, tragedy, and laughter while discovering the deepest love in the defining 8 hours that changed the course of her life.

Reading about me as a fourth-generation Hungarian/European descendant living in Gary, Indiana, you will be immersed in my genuine story just as much as I was in writing it. This book is a raw and intriguing account of my childhood memories from living in the streets of Gary, Indiana nestled on the shores of Lake Michigan to being accepted into one of the world’s finest universities in Oxford, England, against all of the odds. Gary was one of the highest per capita murderous cities in the United States, and I lived the story to tell about it. This book will captivate you as you join me in my passage through a series of short stories within the chapters about my life. My reflection continued after returning to the United States well into my adulthood as the story unfolds. In my own words, it is a writing style of interactive reading and storytelling as if you were sitting beside me through the greatest adventures and sorrows in my life.

This is my story. I shared with the world my life story finally told for the first time of true events. I have been poor. I have been wronged by many. I have been rich. I have experienced tragedy. I have been tested. I have beaten odds. I have lost many things along the way. I have started over. Through laughter and tears I may have been tested in life, but I still stand….
I am a a 4th Generation Hungarian descendant growing up as a street kid from the most violent city in the United States in Gary, Indiana along the shores of Lake Michigan to being accepted to one of the world's finest universities in Oxford, England. A story of unimaginable twists and turns as I tell my defiant untold life story well into my adulthood and the 8 hours that changed the course of my life.
In my life, I experience joy, pain, loss, laughter, success, betrayal, support, tragedy, love, and losing everything, but gained more in life in the 8 hours that changed the course in my life.
I completed my memoir after being at a point of reflection in my life. A true story told to no one, but only in my memoir. I wanted to share my memoir to be an inspiration to readers long after they turn the last page…..
