Author Bio:
Maiko Serizawa is a storyteller and mathematician living in Ottawa. What inspired her onto the journey of story writing was the early loss of her younger brother at the age of six. At the time, she wrote a series of adventure stories starring her brother and discovered the healing power in writing. As a writer, her mission is to tap into our heart’s forgotten treasures through subtle stories found in our day-to-day life. She loves visiting coffee shops for writing, and her debut novel Olive’s Diary was inspired by her favourite café in Ottawa and her years of experience at different coffee shops around the world.
