Interview With Author N. Condor
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have written three books, with the third still in the making. It is one continuous story following a soldier in a dystopian world after the collapse. He falls in love, he fights, and he tries to understand his lover’s background, because she comes from a continuity dome. He travels, he returns, and when he does, the entire region has changed.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Order and a video game inspired it. It was originally a fanfiction, just after I have written 950 pages I decided I would like to try to make it work on its own.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
The first 600 pages I wrote in 1,5 months. According to chatgpt that is unusual :D.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I don’t think there was any single, clear influence behind this book. I’m very raw, not especially polished. I’d like to say Pierce Brown influenced me, but that wouldn’t be true. I did study other writers’ craft, though..
What are you working on now?
Still The Order, I could not decide the ending, who should live who should die.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’m still trying to figure this out, to be honest.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Not yet ;D When I start seeing the big picture, I’ll write about it on Reddit.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Stay consistent. 😀
What are you reading now?
Red rising. The long game.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Hopefully, other stories entirely unrelated to the “Order” universe. I’ve had many ideas over the years.
