Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am an emerging thirteen-year-old author who has recently published my first book.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Book title: Love Machine
My inspiration:
I got my inspiration from images on Pinterest. The idea of hybrids came from images of anime. Generally, I’m always intrigued when it comes to powers, fantasy, and evolutions. Essentially, I use many images on Pinterest to form an idea on a story( I have a board on story inspirations!).
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
No, at least I do not think so:)
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Michelle Knudsen—author of Evil Librarian Trilogy has inspired me to write this book. Although this book I wrote is under the genre of romantic fantasy, I got the inspiration of adding romance in my book from the author. Giving my character powers also was inspired by Michelle Knudsen.
What are you working on now?
I am currently trying to market my book and now I’m starting a new book titled Castle in The Star which will also be under the genre of romantic fantasy and a little bit of history would be included.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I created one of my website which is my official author profile page. I also collaborated with a few book bloggers who were willing to help give me honest reviews. I also joined groups in goodreads for swap reviews and make acquaintances there.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
I am not a master but I want to tell adoring authors: Believe in yourself! Never Give Up!!!!!!!!!!
As for writing tips…
I think the first step you should take is to find out which genre you are best at writing in. All the best!
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
From bloggers:
-start marketing even before publishing
-be bold and let a lot of people read your book
-accept criticism
What are you reading now?
The Master of his Fate
What’s next for you as a writer?
Me? Well, I think I want to focus more on my studies and improve on my writing skills to produce better work in the next book I publish.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Ooh, cool question!
I’ll bring Curse of The Evil Librarian, Master of His Fate, and Fish in a Tree( a very inspiring book too) and if possible, I would grab my book, lol
