Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Nickesha Johnson is a Jamaican-born author now living in the UK, where she has spent over 20 years building a life rooted in compassion, creativity, and purpose. A Nurse for more than a decade, she specializes in Intensive Care Medicine, Nurse Education, Psychological and Professional Well-being.
Nickesha brings this rich background into her writing, blending her passion for self-care, positivity, and personal growth with the vibrant spirit of her Jamaican heritage. Her books include romance titles as well as guided notebooks, journals, and puzzles. All designed to uplift, inspire, and support readers on their own journeys.
Whether she’s penning a heartfelt love story or creating tools for reflection and relaxation, Nickesha is all about living her best life, taking care of herself and others, and spreading joy wherever she goes.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
30 Wedding Countdown Journal
I was inspired because I wanted to remember what my thoughts were leading up to my wedding but its all now a blur. I wish I took the time to document this but i was busy doing so many other thing. So I have made a journal so that others could capture this moment and have it as a keepsake.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Whatever comes to my mind, I write it down and then explore further on a different occasion. It could be an inspiration from a simple conversation to seeing a sign on the way to work or listing to a conversation by 2 strangers.

Not one specific, many different types
What are you working on now?
Romantic fictions
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have only just started promoting so I am not quite sure as yet
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Just start writing, do not wait for a perfect moment.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Time waits for no man.
What are you reading now?
Never eat alone
What’s next for you as a writer?
Travel to get more inspiration.
