Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I think I am married to writing. When I say that, I mean I can’t leave it even in thick and thin, even if I feel I am done. It is something at need to come back to at the end of my day. 2 day down is my second short story fiction novel after 2 peg ke baad.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
I got an itch when I was in college and discovered the kind of atmosphere people have created around periods. It was new to me, as I had never faced it myself before then. It’s then that I knew I had to do something about it. And so 2 day down is my first step towards it.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I tend to break my hair ends (unknowingly) as I sit to think. Embarrassed!
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Mahabharata to a great extent.
What are you working on now?
Next is a full length novel in romance genre.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Facebook and Amazon.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Reaaalllllyyyy need patience to be an author, at every stage.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
What comes instantly, leaves instantly – be it success.
What are you reading now?
A lot of love stories.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Hope to see a change in the society through my writings. It will make my endeavors meaningful.
