Interview With Author Nikki Dalton
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a relatively new india author and have written 7 books. Growing up I loved to write. In high school I would write romance stories and all the girls would gather at lunch to read what I had written the night before. Everyone always said, “You should be a writer,” and after many years I decided to finally give it a try. I think I’m finally getting the hang of it!
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is “The Firefighter’s Unexpected Flame”. I truthfully can’t tell you what inspired it, other than most firefighters are hot and what better subject to write about! I like to write about hot guys and sassy women that tame them.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I am a night owl and do all my best work between 10:00 PM and 4:00 AM. I am also good at sleeping in!
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I love Colleen Hoover, and all of her books inspire me.
What are you working on now?
I am currently working on a book called “The Bodyguard and the Billionaire’s Daughter”. It is about a bodyguard who is hired to protect a billionaire’s daughter but she doesn’t know he is her bodyguard. She just thinks he is some hot dude she met in a club. I’ll bet she’ll be ticked when she finds out the truth!
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Probably Facebook.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
BE PATIENT!! Re-read you book outloud – you will find mistakes that way.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Not advice exactly but a quote that I have always lived by is:

What’s next for you as a writer?
I want to produce some of my books in foreign languages.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
