Tricia DellAnno, an award-winning author, captivates both children and adults with her relatable stories that entertain while imparting subtle life lessons. Inspired by her tenacious son Jonathan’s unwavering determination to get a dog, Tricia wrote the beloved children’s book, ‘No Dog in my Yard.’ Following its success, she released the sequel, ‘A Dog in my Yard.’
Before her career as a children’s literature author, Tricia received undergraduate degrees in Journalism and Communications and a master’s degree in Human Resources Development. With over 25 years of experience at Wegmans Food Markets, she held various roles in Human Resources, including Division Human Resource Manager, Leadership and Talent Development Manager, and Talent Sourcing Manager.
Beyond her literary endeavors, Tricia enjoys quality time with loved ones, traveling to new places, outdoor adventures, and gardening (even attempting to grow giant pumpkins). Additionally, you may find her rescuing abandoned furniture from the side of the road and breathing new life into these forgotten pieces.
