This was the first book I’ve read by the author David E Feldman, and it certainly did NOT disappoint. I really enjoyed this book and its characters.
DORA is a woman that works in sanitation known for being the sweet and strong lady finding herself in a situation where she is going to have to solve a murder mystery.
The author managed to subvert expectations organically. I liked the characters; they were unique but believable.
This book has mystery, thriller: there were bodies, death, suspects, crime scenes, and detectives, felt like a rollercoaster because of what’s going on, which includes a psychological murder-mystery and a police procedural. The storyline is complex and includes much background information, i.e Dora’s trauma, and various mental illnesses figure heavily in the storyline.
I devoured the book in less than a book, because there were a lot of twists and turns in it and had a slightly more emotional edge to it and written well in that manner.
