About Of Soldier and Guardians by Robert Ash
Every mission has a beginning.
It’s just another day for a citizen-soldier, another dust-covered town shooting at us for no apparent reason. We should be home in New York working farms, trading stocks, and being average people, but we can’t. We felt the call of duty and we’re willing to do what others would not.
But the next target isn’t just another dry hole, and our world is about to change forever.
From the sands of Syria to the streets of New York City, ride shotgun with the soldiers of the Space Force as they safeguard the future’s greatest hope.
The Space Force does have soldiers…
Every invention, mankind has twisted to kill in the name of greed, power, or some higher cause. A next generation engine that works out of atmosphere as well is no different. In peaceful hands it is the next technological leap on par with first flight by the Wright brothers. In the hands of an adversary, it is a weapon of war and domination equal to that of the atom bomb.
How far will the enemy go and how far will America to secure it?
Lieutenant Robert Billings is tired of the army and tired of watching his soldiers get hurt, just to find another empty, rusty building. Six months and more empty warehouses than he can count looking for some science project in the dirt of Syria and all he can show for it are more empty seats in his trucks, seats that use to hold his soldiers. It doesn’t matter, it’s the job, and if he doesn’t who will.
This time is different though, for once the intelligence matches.
Why else would there be guard towers and concertina wire in an abandoned industrial park? Maybe he has finally hit pay-dirt.
Hopefully it is worth the price.

Author Bio:
I call a little town in the hills of Western New York, (with more cows than people) home. That however has not changed the fact that I am rarely there, and the actual writing tends happens halfway around the world (when I have time). I write exclusively off a refurbished Toughbook, which has served me well regardless of the abuses, this poor writer has heaped upon it.
There is only one book, but I hope many will follow.
Enjoy the reading regardless.
