Author Bio:
Jayshree is inspired to share her ideas and perspectives on how nature and children teach us to live joyfully and to trust the journey. Her debut story, One Drop, Endless Ripples, explores the limitless lessons that can be learned through nature.
Having recently moved to the USA from New Zealand with her husband and two teenage boys, Jayshree and her family are navigating a new country, culture, and the challenges of the pandemic. It is through this transformation and shortly after the Texas snowstorm in February 2021, that the idea of One Drop, Endless Ripples began.
Jayshree’s parenting and life transformation began when her children started at an early childhood Montessori school which offered her a new perspective on how children thrive. As a parent and an active member of the school board, she learned that children learn best when they feel safe and connected, when they feel joyful, and when they follow their curiosity.
Through this transformational book project, she plans to make an impact on all the things she cares about: families, children, the environment, and raising thriving human beings in an ever-changing world.
As a lifelong learner, Jayshree explores the world through reading, art, music, and travel. She loves exploring her creativity through writing and cooking, practicing yoga, making time for quiet reflection, and enjoying nature through her garden and walking.
