Author Bio:
Carol Lowbeer, an award-winning photographer, writer and blogger fell in love with two charming tiger-calico cats which she adopted in 2012. After that she began to focus much of her creative efforts on pets. She created a “cat series” for a local community TV station featuring therapy cats, cat reiki, fat cats and some unusual cat sanctuaries. After that she began volunteering her photography efforts to help shelter cats get adopted. However her pet-writing life began when she started her blog and Facebook page for her “stars,” Peaches and Paprika, who now entertain over 13,000 followers with their colorful antics, repartee and photo cartoons.
Some of the unusual holidays (cat and human) celebrated by photo-cartoons in her Celebrations series, include “Dress Up Your Pet Day,” “Faux Fur Friday,” “Meow Like a Pirate Day,” “Hug Your Cat Day,” and “Cat World Domination Day.”
