Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I was born in Keta in the Volta region of the Republic of Ghana. As a senior high school pioneer of Keta Business Secondary School, I worked extensively in the financial sector for over a decade and holds an executive MBA in banking and finance from ESG—the Paris Graduate School of Management in France.
In May 2005, I was voted branch winner of Standard Chartered Bank’s Loyalty Promotion Competition. I also received three additional awards in my current financial career as a customer-centric individual whose humility and exhibited service standards were judged to be worthy of emulation and second to none. In July 2012, I was awarded Best Staff of Department; in October 2012, I was named the Overall Best FLA (frontline associate) for the southern zone; and in December 2012, I was the first to be awarded the International Award of Excellence from my employers. I was the very first to have won all three such enviable awards in a single year. I have written three books and currently working on two. I hope to get all five books two novels and three non-fictions completely out by December, 2015.
I am a versatile individual with very dark life stories; I was a child laborer and a survivor of the 1983 famine that claimed many lives. Now an author and a relationship manager of a renowned international bank, I speaks English and French and writes fiction, nonfiction, thrillers, and poetry.
I am interested in motivational engagements that inspire youth worldwide.
Living above the average poverty line today, he often says, “If I have started under a big mango tree and later in an old structure with palm-kernel walls, and today I am working with a world-class international bank, trust me—you have the potential to become a president. Just don’t give up.”
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book that is available and would soon be developed into other special settings is Tears of My Life – a true story that conveys a message of hope to a world that is already dominated by conflict and hatred, and it highlights the factual challenges that have inflicted bitter grievances on little children in many parts of the world. The author reiterates how Kofi, (myself) amid unfavorable difficulties, reclaims his lost hopes and ambitions in life.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes, I usually write in the night when everyone is asleep. I am a very busy relationship manager in a normal business day.
