About Piper’s Impasse
Piper thought she knew a few things for certain: she was going to finish her dissertation; graduate, teach, do research, find a nice professor, get married, have 2.5 kids, and live happily ever after. Then she went to Baxter State Park to complete her research and met Sebastian, a handsome, well-mannered, war veteran with a very sketchy past and present. Suddenly, her plan does not look so good, and there are enough tribal and family secrets to make monsters real and the future of Piper, her family, and Sebastian’s tribe doubtful. Author Bio:
J. Traveler Pelton was born in West Virginia in the last century. She has been married to Dan for 48 years, and is a mother of six adults, a grandmother of eight, a great-grandma of the cutest baby in the world, a Clinically Licensed Independent Social Worker, a retired adjunct professor of social work, leader in her home church fellowship, and an avid reader. Surviving cancer gave her a different outlook on how to pack the days of her life. Besides people, she studies science and technology, and is quick to draw parallels in different fields and weave stories around them. Traveler is a fabric artist and her most enjoyable time is spent spinning yarn while spinning yarns for the grandkids and for her fans. She lives on a small farm with 8 alpaca, 5 Pomeranians, chickens, koi fish, a shifting staff of barn cats, a talkative Amazon parrot called Gizmo and an aviary of canaries. Join her on the other side of the imagination tree. She’ll be sitting there waiting for your visit.
