Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m a native Floridian, married to a firefighter and mom of two. I write speculative fiction for young adults and new adults, and just debuted my first novel in November. I’ve written about 6 novels to date, but my latest is my first publication.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Butterman (Time) Travel, Inc. was inspired by a strong desire to write a time travel story and since I work for an airline, the concept of a time travel agency just sorta hit me and fell right into place.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not unusual per se, but i definitely have to plot out my story bibles before plunging into the first draft. I have to know where I’m going instead of just pantsing it.

Johanna Lyndsey, JK Rowling, Orson Scott Card, Bram Stoker
What are you working on now?
The sequel to Butterman (Time) Travel, Inc.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’m still learning how to effectively promote. But I’ve found just being active in and on various social media platforms without spamming your book can glean interest.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write the book you want to read. Have fun with it. Pour your heart and soul into it. Even if it doesn’t turn into anything great, it’s still a necessary step on the way to making you a great author. Every work counts, even if it never gets published.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Don’t give up. Ever.

Beta reading for another writer.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I have a trilogy planned for the Butterman Travel series. I also have a memoir to write for a local rape victim–something I’ve never done before.
