U.S. Marine Corps combat veteran and mixed martial arts enthusiast Detective Amanda Greene is assigned an unusual case when a woman is attacked while jogging in the park at dusk, and her long hair is cut off. Author Bio:
Caitlin K. Murphy is a recently retired police officer who spent 27 years on the force in a small American city of about 50,000 people. She worked as a patrol officer, detective, and ultimately as a detective sergeant. Her years of investigations enable her to write about investigations with the authenticity of real-life experience. When not writing, she enjoys backpacking and chess. Her goal in retirement, other than to write a few detective novels, is to hike the entire Appalachian Trail.
