Interview With Author Prasad Galla
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m Bob Cliffhanger aka Prasad Babu Galla, a thriller author who loves writing fast-paced, twist-filled stories that keep readers guessing until the last page. I’ve written four books so far:
1. HE WAS MURDERED – a writer is framed for a brutal murder he didn’t commit.
2. SHE KILLED HIM – the deadly sequel where trust shatters and survival is everything.
3. TEN LITTLE DEAD BODIES – a rookie cop’s first murder case uncovers a chilling link to past child killings and a race to catch the real killer.
4. THE PROMISE WE LOST – a story of childhood promises, love, ambition, and the painful choices that tear people apart.
I write thrillers with shocking twists, emotional depth, and characters you won’t forget.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is She Killed Him. It’s the intense sequel to He Was Murdered, and it dives even deeper into a deadly game of deception and survival. The inspiration came from exploring what happens when trust completely breaks down—when the people you thought you knew turn out to have dangerous secrets. I wanted to push my characters to the edge, forcing them to question everything and everyone around them. It’s a story about betrayal, manipulation, and how far someone will go to protect themselves.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Yes, I usually write intense scenes late at night when it’s quiet. I also visualize each scene like a movie and sometimes act out the dialogue to keep it real and sharp.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Agatha Christie has been a big influence on me. Her brilliant plotting, unexpected twists, and ability to keep readers guessing inspired me to write thrillers that challenge the reader at every turn.
What are you working on now?
I’m currently working on The Hidden Culprit, the final book in my murder trilogy after She Killed Him. It will bring the entire story to a shocking conclusion, with twists and answers readers have been waiting for.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’ve found that promoting my books through social media, especially Threads and Instagram, works best for me. I also use Amazon and Medium to reach new readers and share behind-the-scenes content. Consistent, authentic engagement has been key.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Start writing and don’t wait for perfection. Stay consistent, keep learning, and don’t be afraid to share your work. Your first draft doesn’t have to be perfect—it just has to be written.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Done is better than perfect.” It taught me to focus on progress, not perfection, and to keep moving forward no matter what.
What are you reading now?
I’m currently reading Agatha Christie’s books to revisit her brilliant storytelling and masterful twists. Her work always inspires me.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I’m finishing The Hidden Culprit and then starting Chameli, a thriller about a mother’s unstoppable quest for revenge.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
I’d bring And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie, The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Misery by Stephen King, and a notebook—to plan and write my upcoming project, Chameli.
