Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m a Law of Attraction author and have written a self-help book based on using Law of Attraction principles and a novel called Bollywood P.I. (upcoming).
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
It’s called The Law of Attraction Game Book: 28 Days of Love
Everything really boils down to how much self-love, self-worth, confidence, esteem etc, that we have. It’s almost impossible to define what you really want – if you don’t have a solid core of self-love and self-worth. You’ll end up moving towards what someone else says you should do with your life. And you’ll get stuck along with the way with doubts, self-criticism and the like. In the manifesting groups I’m in, and aside from moving towards desires and goals, there is a common theme – everyone wants to be loved. But you have to love yourself first. This is what The Law of Attraction Game Book is all about – it takes the reader through 28 fun daily exercises that really brings their attention to all that is lovable about themselves, and then locks it in with a daily ritual.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I find ways to write whenever and wherever I can. I use my email drafts on my smartphone if I’m on transit.
I write before and after work. I type into my phone with one finger during a lunch break on the go.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
For non fiction:
Rhonda Byrne
Esther Hicks
Sanaya Roman
Marc Allen
Jack Canfield
Joe Vitale
Mike Dooley
and many more
What are you working on now?
I’m getting the print version of the Game Book ready to launch as well as an audiobook.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I’m pretty active in several FB groups, so I share excerpts from the Game Book.
I also create LOA Games (which won an award) and the Game Book is actually based upon a real-life game we played in my group.
So word of mouth, posting in the groups and very curated book promo sites is the way i like to promote currently.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Yes, let it all out!
Let everything flow – then organize your writing, edit and revise a LOT!
You’ll be surprised how much editing and revising is involved but it’s also great fun to see your work develop. I don’t think there is a writer out there who doesn’t want to still “fix” a little something in their published work!
But most importantly – know that what you have to say is valuable. For yourself first and for others. You’re contributing to life itself.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Take one step every day towards your goals.
What are you reading now?
A Victorian romance, and I have more LOA books on my bookshelf to read.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I’m working on a new Law of Attraction book that will launch in 2019.
And I plan to launch my novel Bollywood P.I.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Anything by Abraham Hicks, Rhonda Byrne, the Law of Attraction Game Book, and of course my copy of Pride and Prejudice.
