Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have written three books that are two poetry books and a young adult novel. I love traveling. Besides writing, I like to paint mostly watercolor. I live in the Seattle area with my husband and baby boy. These days, I am busy juggling motherhood with my adorable baby. Going on road trips or hiking with my family are the best!
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My novel is Never One. The inspiration came from a daydream before falling asleep at night. It was like a big ball of images that suddenly popped in my mind.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
No, not really. I am not big on outlines. I tend to write as I go. I might write some notes for references or brain storming.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Jane Yolen and Jules Vern mostly.
What are you working on now?
I am working on another YA but fantasy this time.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep writing and utilize all the social media out there. Connect with other writers.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Not giving up and revise and revise your writing.

Currently, I am busy with my own projects.

Another YA novel that’s sci-fantasy.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
A dictionary, thesaurus, and 2061: Odyssey Three.
