Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I self-published my first book in July 2018. I am currently in the editing phase for a second book as well as have 15 chapter written for a winter release.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is titled, All I Will Ever Need. I had been playing around with the idea of writing a book, but hadn’t come up with a good story line. As a hobby, I have a wringer washing machine, cira 1935. While doing a load of laundry, the story line came to me and the rest is history.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
No, unusual habits.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Kristen Ashley, Lauren Blakey, Cora Seaton, Stephen King, Mary Higgins Clark. Although I wouldn’t dare compare myself to any other them.
What are you working on now?
Currently I a editing a novel that has become so complicated, that some day’s I have to call my editing assistant to make sure what I wrote made sense.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I am still trying to figure that out.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t give up. Even if you only sell ten books in the first month, that is more than what you would have sold if you didn’t write the book at all.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Research, Research, and do more research.
What are you reading now?
I am not reading anything right now. However, the last book I read was Motorcycle Man, by Kristen Ashley, for the third time.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I plan to keep plugging away.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Stand by Stephen King, The Golden Dynasty by Kristen Ashley, Well Hung by Lauren Blakely and any two of Cora Seton’s Hero’s of Chance Creek series.
