Home is Fairbanks, Alaska, but Dr. Lyle Allison warms up in Okinawa, Japan, during the cold Alaskan winter months. He started his teaching career in North Pole, Alaska, and was guidance counselor at Aqqaluk School in the Inupiaq Eskimo community of Noorvik, Alaska.
After completing his Ph.D. at the University of Southern California, he became a professor of education at Okinawa Christian University.
Throughout his diverse career in industry and education, Dr. Allison has experienced and witnessed workplace harassment of friends and coworkers and bullying attacks on teacher colleagues. He aims to help relieve teachers from the pain caused by schoolhouse bullying.
