FURTHER
I am aged now; my vision is impaired. I can’t read except on the computer, using its zoom and magnification features. I can work only for short intervals of time. I am on WordPress, Facebook, twitter and Linkedin but am unable to use any of them.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
It is ‘The Faded Lives’. The common callousness with which the aged are treated, inspired me. unfortunately I was hospitalized soon after I began; I compressed my theme and completed it early. If health and time permits, I want to enlarge the book.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
No.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Every book I read influenced me, both scientific and literary. I can’t recall all authors that influenced me but a partial list is:
A.J.Mee,
Viswanadha Satyanarayana,
Constance Garnett,
Galsworthy,
J.B.Priestly, etc.
What are you working on now?
I am still in the planning stage. As I said, I would like to enlarge ‘The Faded Lives’. I also want to write a sequal to “Don’t Disturb a Sleeping Dog”
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I have just started thinking about ‘Promotion’ of my books.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
“Don’t give up; persevere with self-confidence”.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Don’t lose self-confidence”.
What are you reading now?
Now, I am unable to read anything new.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I hope that at least some of my books become popular.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Alas! My vision and health do not cooperate.
