Author Bio:
Bethany Johnson is a wife, mother, sister, daughter, friend and college professor. Now, she can add being an author to her bio. Bethany received her undergrad degree in Applied Sociology, her masters in Sociology and her doctorate degree in Workforce Education. She began her career working for a social service program helping single mothers on assistance get their GED and work skills in hopes of improving their employment opportunities. She later became a GED instructor and then a college professor teaching Sociology and Cultural Anthropology.
She was chosen as one of the “40 Most Influential Women Over 40” by Brooke Shields and her global women’s community, Beginning is Now. She began her writing career as a contributing author for two online women’s magazines, Prime Women and I Am Honeygood.
Bethany resides in rural Georgia on the family farm with her husband, son, father, 4 dogs and 2 cats. When she is not teaching or writing, you will find her outdoors at their lake house, walking with family and friends, or in the kitchen using her newly learned skill of canning food.
