Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I started writing my first book at the age of fourteen called “The seven Guardians”, one year later I found my self writing my second one called “Heavenly Hell”. The first one was about to be published but unfortunately the economy in my country caused the book agency that I was about to sign with, to close. I studied Movie and Theater as I wrote a lot of scripts and at the age of twenty the idea of “World of reign” came to my mind and three years now it is the only book I have been working on.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book which I finally got to put on amazon, is called “World of reign and the search of the Red Egg”. At first the only think I had in mind was the Light Spirits which they were the reason I started writing the book. I love fantasy and at that period I kept watching Marvel movies, so I think that is why Light Spirits were formed in my mind. I didn’t know how the story would go or my characters but I started writing. Then the first scene came to my mind and finally Alalieda was fully formed and with a mission. After that everything else followed along with the six species.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I always want to have a cup of coffee with me when I write and of course absolute silence. Because my writing place is my room, I like to make changes now and then, so my desk is always wondering around. I spend eight to twenty hours a day (when I can) writing, so change of scenery is always good.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
The first book that really made and impression on me when I was a kid and I could not stop turning the pages was “The wee free men” of Terry Pratchett. I loved it so much that I could not let go of it and still is one of my favorite books. I also was one of the lucky kids that grew up with Harry Potter, so magic and fantasy was inside my life.
What are you working on now?
Now I am working on the second book of the series ‘World of reign” and unfortunately I put aside a true story that takes place in the world war two and I really want to finish it but I will after I finish the series.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I think today they are a lot of social media to promote your book. YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Tweeter but that dose not mean that people are going to trust you so easily, it takes time.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Never give up, as hard as it might seem or gets, if you truly love writing and it is your life then you won’t stop fighting for it. Everyone has doubts about themselves and their work, but that doesn’t mean you have to give up.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Unfortunately no one gave me any advise.
What are you reading now?
I am reading “The Gift of Darkness” by V. M. Giambanco
What’s next for you as a writer?
Actually right now I am focusing on letting people know about my world. I hope it is going to be a safe place for them to let their imagination go wild as it is for me
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Definitely Terry Pratchett, “The stand” of Steven King and Star Wars comics.
