Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Raised on a remote subsistance farm in Northern Ontario, Canada, sixteen miles from the Northern town of Kirkland lake, I was subject to physical and mental abuse by my father. I found relief by taking my little 22 calibre, single shot Canuck rifle and roaming the forest. I contributed to our family of six children by trapping rabbits, shooting partridge, whitetail deer, a occasional moose, fishing for walleye and pike, picking wild blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, chokecherries, morel mushrooms etc.
I have written three books, Mindoka Memories/ A Fathers Son-a biography of my childhood on that remote farm.
My second book, Caylen’s Quest and my third, Caylen’s Journey tells the story of a young boy in 1919 who goes into the North of Canada with his Mother to live with a prospector who turns out to be someone other than who he says he is. Supernatural events, a Hopi Indian Medicine man, gold finds, a powerfull wolf dog, a beautiful Hopi Native girl, police events , conflicts with the devils agent all lead to Caylen’s eventual meeting with extraterrestial beings who lead him on his lifes journey.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Caylen’s Journey is my latest book. It is a sequell to Caylen’s Journey, following young Caylen as he wends his way through lifes pleasantries as well as its hardships. This series of adventure books was inspired by my early childhood life and my own adventures in the North.
