Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have written books on ADHD and also children’s stories. My most recent venture has been into satire and especially the crazy goings on in the UK.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
The Brits Are Bonkers.
They say that truth in satire is a valid definition. As surreal events merge into ridiculous facts, I am beginning to wonder if there is any need for satire at all. Often, the truth is much more fun and comic although it may often be tragic too like the UK’s initial response to COVID-19.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
My favorite authors are Doris Lessing, Lawrence Krauss, Oliver Sacks, and Joy Williams.
What are you working on now?
I am a top writer in humor and satire on Medium so I continue to write daily for that platform and these stories will become my next book. I aso write short stories, articles on mental health, life lessons and Italy where I live.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Dave Chesson on Kindlepreneur
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t go into it blindfolded.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Write and experiment
What are you reading now?
I am reading Joy Williams. Her collection of stories called “The Visiting Privilege” borders on the surreal at times and this helps me generate ideas for my own writing.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Publish another collection of humorous essays
