Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
This is my first book! I’ve been a professional photographer for over 30 years now. I’ve been writing a travel blog and producing a yearly magazine for the past 7-8 years. Once the pandemic happened and I found myself with a lot of free time, I decided it was the best time to put all my stories into a book.

What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Resilience Stories And Lessons From An Ardent Photographer. My inspiration came from all of my travels. I work with Photographers Without Borders and have done projects in places like Chernobyl, Botswana, and India, witnessing resilient people doing amazing work if difficult circumstances.

Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Not really. But once I get into a story, I can spend an entire week without sleeping working on it.

Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep working everyday. Sometimes the best work comes from the days when you don’t feel like writing.

What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Never give up! Follow your dreams!

What are you reading now?
I’m listening to a few audiobooks such as Passionate Photographer.

What’s next for you as a writer?
The second issue of my magazine.

If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
