Interview With Author Ronan Farrell
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Hi,
I'm Ronan Farrell, I was born in Preston, England in 1960. I started my career as a Printing Press engineer before joining the Fire and Rescue Service. Now partially retired, I spent the last eight years of my career as an advanced Fire Investigator, working closely with Police and Forensic scientists. Transferring factual report writing skills for Crown and Coroners Court to my first full novel, A Time to Deceive, was an enjoyable experience and natural progression.
Since retiring I have worked on an ad-hoc basis for a funeral director. This was coincidentally wonderful research for what became my opening chapter. It would be lovely to imply that I was dedicated enough to take the work specifically to research the novel, but that would be another deceit!
I'm married to Sue, we have 3 adult sons and three grandchildren. My current interests include; photography, sailing, walking my dogs (a Labrador and an English springer spaniel), foreign travel and spending time with my family.
I have recently published the sequel to my first novel 'Don't Look To The Stars'
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is 'Don't Look To The Stars'

A developing catastrophe follows Brad as he fights for what he believes in. On the cusp of calamity, can he survive whilst attempting to hold on to true love.
What are you working on now?
I'm looking for inspiration for a third book in the Wanderer Chronicles. I'd like this novel to cover just one point in history.
