Author Bio:
MJ Krause-Chivers is the pen name for award-winning non-fiction Canadian Christian author Miranda J. Chivers. Growing up as a Russian Mennonite, MJ heard many stories about her grandparents refugee journey to from Russia to Canada. After traveling to Poland and Ukraine in 2014, she decided to recreate the tale of trauma that decimated her ancestral people in a fictional format to inspire others to learn about this hidden history.
When she isn’t writing, MJ is reading, researching history, and traveling to interesting places to learn more cultural history. She also loves flower gardens, hiking and collecting rocks.
