Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
Where do I begin? I’m 27 and a psychology major. From the small town of Pageland, SC and the youngest out of 4 kids. I have so far written two books. One is called “The Awakening” Part One and the second is an interactive book called, “Self-love and You Edition 1.”
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is in fact “Self-love and You Edition 1”. What inspired me to write this book was the lack of knowledge people had about themselves. So with this book, they go through and answer the questions as well as completing the exercises, which in turn will help them dig deep and learn things about themselves.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
Unusual writing habits? I don’t think I have any of those.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I wouldn’t say any authors or books influenced me. A quote, however, did influence me. I don’t exactly remember who said it, but it goes, “If you can’t find the book you want to read, its because you are meant to write it.”
What are you working on now?
At the moment I am working on, “The Awakening: As Above, So Below” which will be out in March 2019.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I haven’t found the best method however I promote on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Let’s see.. advice for new authors? Stay focused. Don’t let others try and tell you how to write because everyone is different. Your audience will accept you the way you are.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
“Be you; the world will adjust.”
What are you reading now?
At this moment I’m not reading anything just working on writing and my studies.
What’s next for you as a writer?
What’s next? Well, I have this brilliant idea for a book that I want to eventually be a screenplay, so that will be my next project.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
If I were going to be stranded on a desert island and were allowed to take 3 or 4 books with me, I’d take a book on building so that I could make a shelter. A vegan cookbook so I’d know what types of things I could eat that I wouldn’t have to kill. A book on purifying water, and a book on building boats so that I could get back home
