I am a retired clinical pharmacist. My title is Dr. “P”, writing as S. Lee Fisher.
Becoming Olive W. is my second book and the first in this series, The Women of Campbell County Family Saga. I am currently deep into my next book, Under The Grapevine.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Becoming Olive W. It was written as a prequel to my original story A Mystery of Grace. I wanted to share with my readers why Olive became a troubled, bitter young woman.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
None that I consider unusual.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Too many to list. I enjoy reading historical fiction.
What are you working on now?
Book 2 in the Women of Campbell County Family Saga series, titled Under the Grapevine.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep writing. You’ll never publish if you don’t complete your story.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
To treat writing as a hobby, it shall become a hobby. However, treat writing as a business and it shall become your livelihood.
What are you reading now?
I’m currently in between books.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Book 3 in my series.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
War and Peace. My favorite all-time book. Gone With the Wind, and The Joy of Cooking. Must be practical!
