Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am Sandra Rettab, a writer specializing in self-development, psychology, and the subconscious mind. I have written 19 books in English so far, helping readers unlock their inner potential, restore their energy, and achieve a better life through practical guidance and simple insights.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is “The Hidden Age: How The Subconscious Creates Your Inner Youth”. I was inspired to write it to help readers understand the power of the subconscious mind in shaping their lives and regaining inner youth and vitality effortlessly
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I often write early in the morning before any external distractions to focus fully. I always keep a small notebook nearby to jot down ideas or inspirations as they come.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I have been influenced by authors like Mark Manson and Deepak Chopra, as well as classic self-development and positive psychology books that help readers understand themselves and make meaningful changes.
What are you working on now?
I am currently working on a new book project focused on liberating women’s emotional roots and subconscious patterns, to help them heal inherited emotional legacies and create a balanced life.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I rely on platforms like Draft2Digital and BookBub to promote my books digitally. I also participate in free book promotions to attract new readers and expand my books’ reach globally.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Keep writing no matter the challenges, focus on publishing consistently, and build a strong relationship with your readers. Persistence and quality are the keys to success
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Always listen to your inner voice—it is the true guide that nothing in the world can silence.
What are you reading now?
I am currently reading books on self-development, psychology, and the subconscious mind to continue enhancing my knowledge and enriching my writing with practical insights.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I aim to publish a complete series on self-development for women, focusing on emotional balance, personal growth, and professional success.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
