Interview With Author Sandra Rettab
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a self-help author dedicated to personal growth and subconscious awareness. I have written multiple books in English that focus on mindset, emotional clarity, and inner transformation. My goal is to help readers overcome limiting beliefs and live more empowered lives
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
My latest book is The Hidden Age: How The Subconscious Creates Your Inner Youth. It was inspired by the idea that our subconscious mind shapes our emotions, vitality, and life choices, and that reconnecting with our inner self can bring lasting transformation.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I enjoy writing in the early morning when the mind is fresh. I often meditate or journal before starting to write, which helps me connect deeply with the ideas I want to convey.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I am influenced by authors who focus on self-awareness and personal growth, including Louise Hay, Eckhart Tolle, and Brené Brown. Their work inspired me to explore the mind and emotions in practical ways.
What are you working on now?
I am currently working on a new book that explores emotional healing and subconscious patterns in relationships, helping readers release old habits and build healthier connections.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
I use a combination of free book promotion websites, social media, and author newsletters to reach readers and introduce them to my books.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Stay consistent and patient. Focus on helping your readers rather than chasing immediate success. Every small step counts toward building a loyal audience.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Your mindset shapes your reality. Believing in your ideas and taking consistent action is more powerful than waiting for perfect conditions
What are you reading now?
I am currently reading books on mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and personal development to gain new insights that inspire my writing.
What’s next for you as a writer?
I plan to continue exploring subconscious patterns and emotional healing, creating practical guides that help readers live with clarity, confidence, and inner freedom.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle
You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay
Daring Greatly by Brené Brown
Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl
