Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I have just published (22 May) my first book, Stop Reset Start. It is part of a series called Growth Rocket Series.
After leading high-performance teams for 17 years in executive roles, I became a Solopreneur. The mission was to impact many more individuals rather than just in one company. I have coached many individuals to fire their personal Growth Rocket. I have advised Startups and Hedge Funds.
I learnt Advanced Yoga to jumpstart my self-development and now teach Yoga to trainee teachers.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
Stop Reset Start.
I had so many people coming to me for advice and I realised the common theme in it was the Winning Mindset.
Also, a lot of big corporations were gaining from my guidance and individuals I knew personally.
I wanted Small businesses also to benefit from my experience. They are not able to afford Top consultants and often, the biggest impact happens in such businesses when they get the Winning Mindset.
Also, a lot of leaders in corporations who are not yet in an executive role but are running departments or sales teams would love to know the exact steps to create high performing teams.
Hence, I wrote the book so that even the small guy now has a level playing field.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I always write first thing in the morning or don’t.
I prefer it to be really quiet so that the only sound is me hammering away at the keyboard.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Malcolm Gladwell for his observations and presenting a case often at variance with prevalent assumptions.
Stephen Covey and his seven habits made an early impression when I was in teens. The concept of Habits as the primary difference between success and failure is something I have taken away from his writings.
Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, which form the intellectual foundation for Yoga and the concept of Abhyasa, which can be understood as Deliberate Practice.
What are you working on now?
I am ready with the other books in the Series.
Stop Reset Start is about Reset and building the Winning Mindset. The next will be about Building the Foundation in the business. The third will be how to get Growth Fast.
I am working on a Book to improve the relationships between the Board and the CEO.

I love writing and there is a certain soothing feeling of the sound of the keyboard.
