Author Bio:
Pam Stevens began writing for a horse magazine in her late twenties, where she wrote articles and did photography work. Always an avid reader, one day, she decided, “I can do this!” and she began writing The Reluctant Courier. Drawing on her own experiences working with horses and animals and people in general, she created Sandi, a young, independent rodeo contestant. Even though the individuals who read The Reluctant Courier all said it was “great” and “better than many published books,” her writing got sidelined by life.
Now at over 70 years old, after four children, seven grandchildren, running a couple of businesses, a divorce, a successful remarriage, the death of her father, and eventually her mother did she decide to self-publish The Reluctant Courier, and now the second in the series, Sara Hoyt, Her Mother’s Daughter. Her hope is that her readers enjoy these books and the others she is working on as much as she enjoys writing them.
