Interview With Author Sara Reynolds
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I’m a 26 year old from Kentucky, and I’ve only written 1 book so far, but I have more coming out soon.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
“Silencing The Siren” was inspired by a dream I had when I fell asleep watching a fantasy show.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I like to write from the comfort of my bed.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
I really liked the “House of Night” series by PC Cast and Kristin Cast.
What are you working on now?
I’m working on a sequel to “Silencing The Siren” and a separate book about the Fae.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Twitter, Facebook, basically any social media site works really well.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Don’t give up. You can fix a bad book, but you can’t fix something you haven’t written.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
Keep writing.
What are you reading now?
Oh, so many at once, but “Voodoo Academy”by Theophilus Monroe comes to mind.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Probably just many more books.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Oh, that one is so hard. There’s so many that I like!
