Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
this is my first book! I am first and foremost a sports fan: I play football, hockey and I am a triathlon athlete.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
“Your metabolism: a user’s guide: Knowing the biochemistry of the human body to be fitter, healthier and thinner”. I have a great passion for nutrition science. I believe that eating properly is the key to being fit and happy. I have always looked for a book on nutrition that had solid scientific foundations, but was at the same time fun to read. Since I never found it … I thought I’d write it!
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I can’t write if my dog isn’t in the room. He’s a 132 lb Rottweiler – but sweet as a poodle!
What authors, or books have influenced you?
science and biology textbooks… but I wanted to make them much less boring
