Over the years I have heard from numerous authors that they want to be on all the Awesomegang family of sites but didn’t want to fill out the forms on each site. They also wanted to be on the sites starting on different days. This way they take advantage of being in 4 different newsletters across 4 days.
Now with our site Awesomebookpromotion.com that can be done. Many authors also submit their book to all 4 sites using the same day and that’s fine also.
Since we started the site though some authors have stacked their book promotion across the whole scope of days. They start with Awesomegang then 2 days later they start their promo on Pretty-hot.com. Then they start their promo 3 or 4 days later on Bookreadermagazine.com and finish off with DiscountBookMan.com a few days after that. This spreads the promo out over a few more days.
No matter what route you take when setting up your book promotions with us we have made it easier for you. Of course each site will still have it’s own forms and you can choose to just be on one site like you have done all along.
Of course the promo method you choose is up to you and your time frame that your book is on sale. If you are in the Amazon KDP program and you are running a free promotion you have 5 days to give your book away. If you are doing a kindle countdown deal you get up to 7 days.
You may also want to break it across a few months. Either way is fine. I have a book that I put free every 18 days for 1 day and this is how I use my KDP days. That particular book brings me consulting business so I can only handle so many clients at once.
It also helps keep the book from being placed on the very bottom of the Amazon rankings. I feel it is easier to get a book higher in the rankings if it already has a good starting point.
