Interview With Author Stefan Köbi
Tell us about yourself and how many books you have written.
I am a physicist and pilot. Viral Deceit is my only book to date.
What is the name of your latest book and what inspired it?
I wrote Viral Deceit for one reason: Bioweapons are the greatest threat humanity has ever faced. My inspiration is expressed in the dedication: To my wife and children, and a safer world for them and all.
Do you have any unusual writing habits?
I write very late into the night… make that into the early morning. Sunrise often surprises me.
What authors, or books have influenced you?
Too many to list here, sorry.
What are you working on now?
I am trying to make people aware of a serious risk. That is the only reason I wrote the book.
What is your best method or website when it comes to promoting your books?
Time will tell.
Do you have any advice for new authors?
Write from the heart, not for money.
What is the best advice you have ever heard?
If you don’t like your life, change it.
What are you reading now?
Scientific journals.
What’s next for you as a writer?
Time will tell.
If you were going to be stranded on a desert island and allowed to take 3 or 4 books with you what books would you bring?
Hmm, that will require a lot of thought.
