About Succees Is Not an Option by Warren Alexander
“Success Is Not an Option” is a satire about the American work place.
Rob Stone, a graphic artist, is selected as the new CEO of Remora Insurance. Although he possesses guile and a sharp tongue, he lacks any management or business experience, and must overcome a variety of challenges. He must contend with the Head of Marketing becoming the first person in medical history to be paralyzed from the waist up when she is hit in the head with a bagel. Stone must also grapple with an overzealous underling who transforms the cafeteria into a wedding/bar mitzvah joint renamed Tray Chic.
But worst of all, most believe Stone cannot be trusted, as he is just too honest.
Success Is Not an Option is a witty and insightful book about the American workplace which no boss will ever find witty or insightful.
