Lorin has to ditch her big summer plans and spend the time with her aunt, living in a big old house on the shores of a large lake. But, there’s no cell service, no Internet, no cable TV! Cathy has been writing stories since childhood. Summer and 16 is loosely based on her own 16th summer, and she’s been wanting to write the story for some time. After spending several years doing technical writing for the government, she left the job and now spends her time doing the type of writing she loves and hopes to share with readers.
